We take the health and safety of our staff very seriously and we have implemented measures to ensure the best possible working environment achieveable.
In order to minimise impact and remain fully operational, our warehouse teams have been divided and will now work on a shift rotation basis. We want you to be aware that due to lower staff numbers at peak times there is a possibility that some orders may be slightly delayed but we are doing our utmost to continue to provide the best service possible at all times and will work to ensure that any impact will be minimal.
Within the warehouse, our staff are adhering to social distancing guidelines and have been provided with face masks, disposable suits, gloves and goggles. We are ensuring to regularly cleanse equipment and commonly used areas with disinfectant sprays and wipes. We also have the ability to de-contaminate shipments and help you avoid downtime.
We have imposed site notices in terms of both drivers and employees. All drivers will remain in their vehicles until called forward for unloading, and will only be given access in exceptional circumstances. All employees are to ensure they are fit for work and without any signs of illness.
This is an unprecedented time for all businesses globally but we want to highlight that we remain fully operational and committed to continuing to provide excellent service to all our customers.
In order for this to be possible, it is paramount that we protect our workforce during this critical time. In line with the latest Government advice, our employees are working remotely from home where possible. All staff have access to the necessary software, equipment and communication tools to ensure there is no disruption to our service.
Resilience is key and given that we use a range of different couriers we can ensure that we continue to provide options to our customers should their usual method of order fulfilment be compromised. We are in continuous communication with our delivery partners and have information on specific regions and affected delivery services.
